Elastic Island author, Karen McMillan was recently interviewed on Radio New Zealand. Lately with Karyn Hay focussed on a number of local authors in the lead up to the New Zealand Writers. Easter is a time for Chocolate and Family, or if you don't have a sweet tooth like me its time for markets and BOOKs!!! Books make such a great gift at ANY time of the year 🙂 Any excuse. I attended the Stratford Prosperos Farmers markets with my Sister, Niece, Nephew and my son! It was Fantastic! I had the pleasure of doing a book reading with the kids and face painting with my son. Its markets season again which is so exciting because I get to talk to you face to face and ask what you think about our products! Its been an exciting week for me this week! Well to be honest most weeks are exciting because I love working with books and I get to do what I love everyday! So if you follow our Facebook Page you would have already read our announcement that Duckling Publishing has made the first expansion to publish another authors Novel! Karen McMillian is a friend of mine and when I heard about her idea for Elastic Island I was hooked and had to have it! So its been such a fun journey over the last 6 months of finessing the story, working on the cover and the title to make what I think is an amazing action adventure story for 6-12...
