K.C Murphy
Author
K.C Murphy has always had an extremely vivid imagination and finds story ideas popping into her head at the most inopportune moments, like 2am! After many years of ghostwriting for other people she decided to try her hand at writing her own children’s stories.
Working with rhyme has always been her chosen format and she firmly believes she was rhyming words before she could talk properly. K.C lives in the beautiful county of Devon with her husband and their various rescued pets. It’s her belief that every child deserves to be able to read and therefore enjoy the magical world of literature.
Much of her inspiration for story writing comes from everyday life and seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary.
K.C would like to say a huge thank you to the furry visitor that inspired the Mouse Adventures stories and to you, the reader, for choosing to read them.
She has a keen interest in mental health and volunteers with Shout, the UK’s first, confidential text service. Shout are there 24/7 to help anyone struggling to cope. K. C’s Mouse Adventures series revolve around an anxious little mouse, who either gets the hiccups or his hiccups worsen when he feels anxious or stressed. K. C wants to show her young audience that it’s okay to feel anxious and more than okay to talk about those feelings.
